A 1980s (we think) postcard of Minehead's sea front

The sea wall has since been replaced (1999) but the picture does show where we are in relation to the sea. In the distance you can see the harbour wall. The harbourside pub, the Old Ship Aground, is just out of view. Just to the left of the centre of the picture is the pub formerly known at The Red Lion. It has recently be re-furbished and re-launched as The Quay Inn - great news for us as their back garden is just across the road from our driveway!
