CORONAVIRUS BOOKING INFORMATION FOR ROSANDA HOUSE
Recognising the uncertainty caused by the ongoing situation, we want to do the best we can for our guests.
MEASURES WE ARE PUTTING IN PLACE DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC
There are several measures we have put in place to make sure that your stay with us is safe but also relaxing and enjoyable. Please note that we also live at Rosanda House, on the first floor, and therefore share the entrance hallway.
Please read the following carefully in preparation for your visit:
Remember the best way to stay safe is to regularly wash hands thoroughly. Guests should bring with them their own personal supply of hand sanitiser and face masks for when they are out and about. Everyone needs to play their part and behave responsibly.
IF YOU HAVE SYMPTOMS DURING YOUR STAY – IMPORTANT
If you show any signs of having the virus then you must immediately notify us and then go and get tested by contacting:
https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/testing-and-tracing/get-an-antigen-test-to-check-if-you-have-coronavirus/
The result must be shown to us. If positive, you will need to leave if any member of your party can drive you. If that is not possible and you have to self-isolate here, then you may be required to pay for your extended stay and for any bookings that have to be cancelled as a result.

- During 2020 we have taken one of our flats (number 2) out of use. Most of the time therefore there have only been two flats in use at a time.
- The flats will be given as thorough a clean as normal and then all regular contact surfaces such as work tops, handles, taps, pull switches, remote controls, keys and fobs will be sanitised with approved antiviral liquids.
- There will be hand sanitiser dispensers in the front door porch and on the desk in the hallway and guests are encouraged to use them whenever you enter or leave Rosanda House.
- We will be routinely sanitising the inner and outer front door handles and the handles and surfaces in the hallway.
Remember the best way to stay safe is to regularly wash hands thoroughly. Guests should bring with them their own personal supply of hand sanitiser and face masks for when they are out and about. Everyone needs to play their part and behave responsibly.
- In the kitchen, utensils etc will be reduced to essential items for the numbers staying and basic cooking. The utensils, crockery and cutlery will have been run through the dishwasher or hand washed prior to your arrival. Any shortages or special items you may want can be obtained from us if you speak to us or give us a call.
- Please bring your own bath and tea towels and oven gloves
- We have spare duvets and pillows which we will rotate between bookings so each arrival will have beds made up with items which have been isolated for at least a week.
- There will be a bin in the bathroom with a bin liner bag. Please use that to dispose of any items such as tissues and sanitary items and then tie the bag closed before you depart.
- We will remove non-essential items from the flat and the hallway to avoid the need for extra cleaning with items that are difficult to sanitise. Feel free to take books and DVD's from the bookcase but keep them in the flat during your stay and leave them there on your departure so they can be sanitised and isolated before they are put back on the shelves. The Tourist Information Centre at The Beach Hotel, near the WSR Station will be open so you can obtain any maps, leaflets, and guidebooks you might need from there. Details at www.mineheadbay.co.uk
- We will need you to provide, names, telephone numbers and email addresses of everyone in the party, so that we can pass this onto the NHS if it is required. This information will not be used for any other purpose. This must be provided at the point of arrival or before.
